Wiltshire Neighbourhood Watch

Mike Davidson, Chair Wiltshire Neighbourhood Watch

I retired after a full career in the Royal Engineers in 2000 as both a military and civil engineer. I then stayed on as a civilian project leader to deliver the private finance project for the Army Foundation College in Harrogate. I retired in 2008.

I became a NHW scheme coordinator in my home village of Codford, near Warminster and subsequently became area coordinator for the village. In 2013 I was co-opted onto the Association Committee representing the Warminster area. I joined the joint NHW/Police/Wiltshire Council project team to investigate options for the community messaging service for the County. Then I helped the roll-out of in 2014. I was elected Chair of the newly formed Wiltshire NHW Association following the AGM in June 2016.

My interests focus on the families of our 3 children, keeping fit and our garden.  I am also a trustee  and volunteer fundraiser for the Wessex MS Therapy Centre in Warminster.  My wife and I still find time for holidays, walking, reading and researching my family’s history during World War 1.
