Wiltshire Neighbourhood Watch

Bringing neighbours together throughout Wiltshire

Welcome to the Wiltshire Neighbourhood Watch Association website.  I hope you will find it informative and interesting, bringing you relevant news from across Wiltshire and Swindon as well as the national NHW Network whose vision embraces ‘a society where neighbours come together to create safer, stronger and active communities’.  Our Association’s prime interest is in supporting local NHW schemes, acknowledging the valuable role played by scheme co-ordinators and members.

Our Association’s support of Safer Communities also requires acknowledgement of the valuable role carried out by other community stakeholders including residents, Town and Parish Councils, Housing Associations’, and other support agencies whose work supports good neighbourliness and community engagement, each of which contributes to establishing and maintaining a sense of general wellbeing and safety within a community.

Of course, one other key stakeholder is Wiltshire Police with whom our Association has strong and productive links which in time we hope to develop in line with our Partnership Agreement.  Our Association is a strong advocate of neighbourhood policing and to this end will continue to support efforts in strengthening neighbourhood policing across all communities in Wiltshire and Swindon.

Thank you for your interest in Neighbourhood Watch.  If not already a member, why not join us?
